Carioca has been breeding exceptional Fila Brasileiro's since 1986. We are proud of the many fine companions, Champions and breeding stock we have furnished to our clients over the years. Our bloodlines are the result of selective breeding and the careful use of import lines. Carioca strives to produce the true type of Fila, seeking to preserve the original temperament, physical beauty and good health which are hallmarks of the breed. We are always ready to educate potential owners about the unique aspects of Fila ownership. These dogs are not for everyone due to their strong protective instincts.
